Tory Brody Holmes is the Principal of Blade PR, a boutique publicity and management firm serving corporate, individual and non-profit clients in television, film, books, fashion, and culinary arts.
Prior to launching Blade PR, Holmes enjoyed a longstanding tenure with NBCUniversal based in Los Angeles and New York City. During this time, she led strategic press campaigns and corporate and digital communications for every genre of programming including reality and scripted series; movies and mini-series; specials and award shows; major television industry events.
Holmes’s specific client work has included network red carpet and press coverage for the Upfronts, New York Times best-selling cookbooks and Emmy-Award winning press campaigns and events for top shows including the Emmy-Award winning “Top Chef” series and “30 Rock.” She media trained top executives, celebrities and many more.
Holmes began her career in Los Angeles at NBCUniversal where she worked for the President of NBC Entertainment who became CEO of NBCUniversal. In 2004, she relocated to New York as part of the CEO’s office and soon after began her career in communications.
Holmes’s corporate, public relations, crisis management and production experience has led her to work with companies including NBCUniversal, Bravo, The A+E Networks, celebrity chefs such as Top Chef winner Kristen Kish, restaurateurs Mike Isabella and Spike Mendelsohn, international shoe companies Fly London and Andre Assous, The Boston Film Festival and more.
A graduate of Miami University, Holmes is a former NCAA nationally ranked ice skater who, in her free time, competes at an adult level and still hopes to one day land a triple axel.
